Inspiring Modern Medieval Interior at The El Badiu in Spain by Anna Noguera
It’s not a matter of tight budget as I’m sure the owner of this property which is overlooking the Plaça de Sant Domènec is capable of building a new modern living. The architect Anna Noguera has smartly looked at something beyond this place, a property in Girona, Spain named the Garden or El Badiu. This medieval building was not knock down, instead, Anna Noguera renovated the place by uniting the 16th century old building with something more modern, practical, functional and streamlined. The result is an amazing modern medieval interior design.
The character of the old building still can be seen. You can tell that this medieval house is rich in history from its heavy ornamentation. This medieval duplex occupies 180 meters square and can accommodate for up to 6 people.
The modern medieval duplex design housing large bathroom, two double bedrooms, spacious living areas, a secluded garden with a swimming pool and solarium. If you have an old historic building, then this kind of design can be inspiring. If the structure still strong, why should you knock it down? Get it renovated like what Anna had done here.
