Artistic Home Design in Traditional Form without Windows by Manuel Aires Mateus
This is the simplest home design we’ve ever seen, it was spotted just on the outskirts of Leiria, Portugal. The unique roof design reminds me of Japanese architecture where the only difference in this house is that the roofing design left a square hole in order for lights to reach into the building which doesn’t have any windows while the Japanese house was designed for a veranda.
The master mind of this simple drawing-like house was initiated by architects Manuel Aires Mateus. The home’s project was completed 2010 and it truly is minimalist both from outside as well as from inside. Some might say that this house representing a silhouette and we couldn’t agree more with the saying, the only difference is that silhouette is black in color this one is white.
The traditional form at this artistic home design is in contrast with the white facade. It’s not privacy that gives the house lack of windows and opening, it was merely a work of artistic architecture. If it was for privacy I’m sure the architecture would build fences surrounding the place. This is certainly is a work of art.
