Modern House with Subtle Panorama of Lake Okoboji
This minimalist brown housing is located in a small plot of land on the shore of a lake in a rural area of Iowa, we think that a house like this is a series of spatial structures that offer a private as opposed to the opposite shore which is densely populated. This second house is located in a resort area that looks like an oasis in the middle of “corn desert” of the Midwest.
The story behind this modern brown house was the owners wanted a house which was completely related to the lake and oak trees bordering the lake and spread beyond the fields. The house is three-dimensional behavior as a set of blinders where it is obscuring the neighbors, while gradually opening to the lake and horizon. Visit E.B. Min and Jeffrey L. Day.
