Contemporary Lake House – Villa Röling by Paul de Ruiter
Villa Röling is another residential architecture design created by Dutch architect Paul de Ruiter such as this lovely home design villa room in rhenen. Villa Roling is a contemporary lake house design or a waterfront home design located in the town of Kudelstaart, Netherlands designed for their art collectors clients who’s love to be surrounded by works of art.
From Paul de Ruiter:
The clients wish regarding their new dwelling was that it would do greatest justice to their collection of paintings and sculptures. However, the location of their house, at the edge of the lake Westeinderplas, is so spendid that it was no option to make a closed volume which would have large wall surfaces for hanging on the paintings but would limit the view of the surroundings. The view of the lake and the garden should be maximal. Therefore we decided to design two contrasting volumes, a transparent glass volume overlooking the lake and the garden, and a floating´ wooden box on top of it for the works of art.
Inside villa roling, the views of lake and garden grounds are maximized through the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer the interior a very minimal, wall-less look, complemented by interesting finishes, luxurious flooring and a fabulous two-storey living space at the heart of it all, crowned with a skylight that naturally illuminated the couple’s prized paintings.

the lake house project is done in a simple bt quite effective manner…too impressive n thaughtful…it can set a gud example of modern/contemporary architecture…
